Nature is far more advanced than our own technology. Thinking about the millions of years it took for nature to come up with this perfect invention reminds me of one of my favorite quotes, courtesy of Carl Sagan (click for more awesome Sagan quotes):
"If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe."
